When should I make my spa reservations?
To ensure that you receive all the spa treatments you want, when you want, not only is advanced booking suggested, it is highly recommended. Guests may book up to one month in advance of their arrival. Some treatments may not be available every day. All reservations will be secured with a credit or debit card. Your card will not be charged. Call our office at (305) 520-5699.
What is the Cancellation Policy?
Twenty-four-hour (24) notification is required for all canceled or changed spa appointments to avoid a 50% cancellation fee. Missed appointments will be charged 100% of the service fee.

What if I arrive late to my appointment?
Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment, thus lessening the effectiveness and your pleasure. You will still be charged the full fee for the appointment. If your service time is shortened, it will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed or inconvenienced. We will do everything we can to accommodate you.
What should I tell my treatment provider?
All guests receiving spa treatments have not only the right but also the responsibility to communicate openly with their therapist or aesthetician, about their service during the treatment. Any special expectations, personal preferences, and/or possible concerns about how a treatment is progressing should first be addressed directly with the individual who is providing the treatment during the treatment.
Our spa staff is diverse with breadth and depth of knowledge of the healing arts. We celebrate all their varied backgrounds and value their many skills, talents, and gifts which they bring to Dr. Jarrett’s Wellness Center and Spa. If you have a special request to make your treatment more enjoyable such as dimmer lights, softer music, a lighter or heavier touch, an extra blanket, etc. Please do not hesitate to ask.
If there are certain things you wish your therapist NOT to do such as work on your feet, your face, your abdomen, or scalp/hair, please communicate your desires.
Also, you have the obligation to let your therapist know about any health-related conditions that could potentially cause you discomfort or harm during the course of your treatment. This would include but is not limited to, pregnancy, recent surgeries, diabetes, injuries, high or low blood pressure, heart conditions, shellfish or iodine allergies, and any other allergies.
All of our services are designed to nurture, relax, restore, and meet your specific needs. We welcome your input and feedback.
What should I wear?
A robe, slippers, and lockers are provided for your convenience at the spa or you may choose to wear the robe from your room. It is recommended that you shower before receiving your treatment and that you disrobe for your spa services. Your therapist will leave the room as you disrobe and you will lay under a sheet on the table. Upon completion of the treatment, your therapist will again step out of the treatment room to allow you to redress into your robe. Our therapists are trained in proper draping techniques for your comfort. You may elect to receive treatments in your bathing suit or undergarments. Please remove all jewelry before your session begins.
What if I have some physical ailment, disability, or allergies?
Please notify the spa receptionist at the time you are making your appointments and your therapist at the beginning of your treatment. You will be informed if treatments are not recommended.
Should I avoid the spa if I am pregnant?
Your physician can best advise you on which treatments are safe. We also offer prenatal care on-site. It is suggested that you avoid treatments using deep pressure and heat.
Can I choose to have a male or female therapist?
If you have a gender preference, please advise the spa at the time of making your appointment.
Should men shave before a facial?
Shaving is recommended but please be sure to do so at least two hours before your scheduled appointment.
Are there any rules of etiquette?
Honor the environment with silence; it is one of tranquility and relaxation. Remember that your treatment will end on time so that the next guest is not delayed. The use of cell phones, cameras, and electronic devices is not permitted in the spa. Arrive early. Don’t cheat yourself out of your relaxation time.
How should I handle gratuities?
We are often asked about gratuities, gratuities are not included in your bill. Treatment and package prices do not include gratuity. Quality service is customarily acknowledged by a gratuity of 15-20%.
Will I be able to purchase the products that are used in my treatments?
We carry a full array of professional spa products so you can duplicate the benefits at home.
How do I determine which facial to choose?
The aestheticians at Dr. Jarrett’s Wellness Center and Spa are trained to customize each of our facial treatments for your particular skin thorough skin analysis. This may mean that you do not receive the facial you booked but one rather more suited to your skin type.
Should I shave my legs before my massage or body treatment?
Shaving is recommended but please be sure to do so no less than four hours before your scheduled appointment. Certain products may irritate newly-shaven skin.
Teen Policies
Young adults age 17 years and under must be supervised by a parent or guardian while participating in Spa Services including massage and body treatments, facials, or any one-on-one services.
Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are available for purchase. Gift cards expire one (1) year after purchase.
